I've been thinking about sun and swimsuits and the beach. I want to get a new swimsuit but I'm not sure which style is best for me. I'd like to get a one piece like this one from Anthropologie but I'm not sure I can pull it off. Gotta get in shape first! I'm usually just a bikini top and board shorts kinda gal. Maybe this year I'll go for it...

So, I've been really busy lately getting ready for visitors this weekend. I'm having some friends from Raleigh and Birmingham stay over for a few days. I've been looking forward to this weekend for some time now. It's good to have guests over because it forces me to really clean up the house and organize the things I've been putting off. Plus I miss my friends. Now that I'm done cleaning I'm going to make some homemade chocolate chip cookies then relax and wait for them to show up.

I love houseplants. I want a million scattered all around the house. I just wish I wasn't so good at killing them. I have about five right now though a few might be kicking the bucket soon. If you're like me you might want to check out this article on the top five hard-to-kill houseplants.

Peppermint

Thinking about painting my bedroom. I'm really inspired by this polaroid. Such a wonderful shade of pink. Still trying to decide how I feel about a two tone wall. We'll see. I'm going to play with some samples this week. This polaroid is from Grant Hamilton's portfolio. Check it out, it's awesome.
