Bean

Chaz and I welcomed a new addition to our crew last weekend. He's a 5 year old Shar Pei mix named Bean. His description on the shelter's website was what got me. They described him as 'a super laid back dude' and a 'perfect gentleman'. And he really is! He's awesome and really good with Butter, our Italian Greyhound. Yup, Butter and Bean. We didn't plan that. He was already given the name Bean and it doesn't seem right to change it. We love him already...this is pretty much what he does all day....

Aw, he's lovely! I want another dog so badly. It just doesn't seem right to leave my dog Rufus alone all day.

tanks! yeah, that's one of the reasons we got bean. he's good company for our other dog while we're at work.

WHAT a lover. I just wandered over here after seeing your sweet comment at 4Me, 4U, and love that you adopted an adult dog- most people don't do that. We adopted a 1yr old hound mutt when we first moved to the desert, and she was absolutely terrified of men. It took a solid year of training and confidence-building, but now she's a loving, mellow, well-adjusted lady and the love of our lives. Pretty amazing, that love you get back from a grateful pooch, right?

Cheers! lily @ bigBANG

you're right, it is amazing. we wanted to get bean because of his awesome personality and his age wasn't even an issue. we haven't had him long and he's already, along with our other dog, the love of our lives.

thanks for stopping by!
