Changes

So, the weather has been really nice these past couple of days. A little chilly but just the right amount. I've been enjoying it. I like wearing layers of clothing...jackets, sweaters, knee high socks under my jeans...and drinking hot beverages. I want to get pumpkins soon, huge ones. And is it too soon for a Christmas tree?

I do miss summer though. Only because I was here and went to places like this:







I miss my family. I miss Okinawa.

Grad School

So I've been thinking a lot about grad school these days. Application deadlines are getting closer and closer and I need to start making some decisions and come up with a final list of schools I want to apply to. So far I have...

-Indian University in Bloomington
-SCAD in Savannah
-Mills College in Oakland
-Columbia College Chicago
and considering
-Texas Woman's University in Denton
-UGA, Lamar Dodd School of the Arts in Athens

This list has come about by recommendations from friends and professors and research. I haven't actually visited any of these schools. I've just been basing them off what others have told me and the schools' websites. It's hard trying to decided on a school that's right for me. But we'll see how it goes.

Dazzle Ships

The other day Chaz and I were listening to OMD's (Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark's) album, Dazzle Ships. Chaz was telling me about the album's name and it's origin. Dazzle painting was used on ships during World War I and World War II as a means to camouflage them so that their speed and heading could not be detected. Look how crazy they are...

Wishful Thinking

So sometimes in my spare time I like to go to Leica's website and customize my own personal Leica camera. It's called Leica a la carte. I pick all the major components and color as if I have all the money in the world. Here's one I customized today. It came to the total of $5,580! and that's not including the lens which is sold seperately.

My friend Chris can grow a pretty sweet beard. He can also do mutton chops or a simple mustache. It must be fun to be a boy.
