I know I've mentioned
Mina Perhonen before but I just can't help it. I love their textiles and their winter collection is just beautiful. Look at them babies!

Mameshiba

Mameshiba...not quite a bean, nor a dog but perhaps a hybrid of both. They love to appear out of nowhere and offer random bits of trivia whether you asked for it or not...

Sadao Watanabe

When I was visiting Okinawa this past summer I became aware of Japanese printmaker, Sadao Watanabe. His work is very interesting for he takes biblical subjects and scenes and renders them in a traditional style of Japanese folk art. He uses paper made from mulberry trees and traditional organic and mineral pigments.
