Razzle Dazzle
Etsy
I really love these vintage plates from Ninainvorm's Etsy shop. She took vintage plates and added her own screenprinted images to them. I love the colors she chose and the way her images interact with the already existing pattern on the plates. Very cool.

Euro Deco
I've been reading, well actually more like flipping through and studying the pictures, of this book I got back when Chaz and I went to Portland called, Euro Deco: Graphic Design Between the Wars. It's amazing. Makes me really want to study graphic design or take a class on the history of graphic design. I should look into that...
Here's some pages from the book:

Busy Sunday
Recently I applied for an internship with a local photographer and found out that I got the gig. I'm really excited to start working with her. She has all kinds of ideas for projects she wants me to help her with. We're going to be experimenting with book binding and various other projects related to book arts. I can't wait. I need the inspiration and this will hopefully get my brain juices going and keep me busy creatively till grad school.

Arrow Bikes
I'm loooooooving, absolutely loving these bikes made in Japan. I want them both so bad. Their motto, "Simple is best". I can't agree more! But to be honest I need to start showing my own bike some more love. Take it out more often. These are pretty cute though...

Such a great film from the opening credits to the final scene with Benjamin and Elaine. I watched this film recently and have decided it is one of my favorites. I love Dustin Hoffman's awkward portrayal of Benjamin Braddok.
Also, I never realized how much Wes Anderson's films remind me of The Graduate. I wonder if he considers Mike Nichols an influence?
